Welcome!
Thank you for taking the time to visit the link provided in your welcome email! It is important to me that all information conveyed to you is in one specific location so that you can refer back to it as needed. Be sure to save this page in your “favorites” to refer back to. By now, we’ve met over video chat or in person, and you’ve booked my services for your baby’s upcoming birth. Whatever that may look like, I want you to know that I am here for you 100%. Any questions or concerns you have, please do not hesitate to reach out via my cell phone. Below, I will go over some things I think it is important that you know after booking your birth with me.
Maternity Session: Maternity sessions are included with Birth Photography. Typically done around 30-32 weeks, these sessions can invoke feelings of benevolence surrounding your pregnancy. I will reach out around 28 weeks to schedule your session. I offer quick indoor or outdoor maternity sessions. Follow these links to get an idea of maternity sessions in their variety with me:
On Call at 38 weeks: Now, I have to tell you....I love pregnancy updates. Please feel free to update me as often as you like! When/if you feel like labor may be happening soon though, shoot me a text! But if you feel labor happening, CALL me asap. I will not hear my text messages if I happen to be sleeping when you're in labor. From your first labor contact notice, we'll keep in touch either via text or call about when I need to head to you. Depending on the distance from me to you, it could take up to one hour for me to arrive at your birthing location.
Usually I make my way to the birth space when you're unable to walk/talk through contractions.
If you're doing cervical checks, dilation and baby's position are also good to know, but are not absolutely necessary.
FOR MY CONTACT INFORMATION, I GIVE YOU TWO NUMBERS. MINE, AND IN THE CATASTROPHIC EVENT THAT YOU CANNOT REACH ME AT MY CELL NUMBER, MY HUSBAND’S. HERE IS MY CONTACT INFORMATION:
Renee (me): 317.820.7860
Doula Stuff: I am a trained doula in which is a hat that typically never comes off. Even if you already have a primary doula, while I won’t step on any toes, I will still support your expressed birthing plans and encourage you to advocate for yourself in labor as needed. You'll also hear plenty of encouraging words coming your way from me! I love supporting those in birth through my photography, as well as added emotional support.
Lastly,
Please fill out the form/questionnaire below. Even if we’ve already exchanged contact information, I like having it in an email just in case! Thank you! :)
I look forward to your birthing day! I know it will be beautiful, and I can’t wait to be there for you, documenting and supporting you in your sacred space. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out immediately!
Sincerely, Renée Mason
